Deanna, you are so right. She has dug her nails into my heart and won't let go. I love it! I just need to find some clothes to fit her. She is sooooo tiny.

I live in South Texas. I have three miniature dachshunds and recently acquired a Chihuahua puppy. She is 7 weeks old, barely weighs a pound and has already put my other dogs in their place. She has let them know in one day that she is the one in charge. She herds them around and "bites" on their collars, nips at their legs and growls at them when she wants to be alone in her pet bed. She also naps regularly with each of the other dogs. When she is sleepy, she will crawl into one of their beds and snuggle up on their belly and go to sleep. The others are so protective of her but her greatest protector is on of my male dachshunds. He will stand on top of her if the others get a little too rough in his opinion. He nudges her into her bed to get her to safety. It is the funniest thing because she gets after him the most. He pushes her out of the way and she yips and growls and snaps at him and he just sits and lets her go on and on until she calms down and falls asleep on him. I LOVE how they entertain me. I never realized how much fun a Chihuahua could be. Since I am a novice with this breed, I really appreciate any and all tips this group can provide. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your group.
