I am 52 .. Quickly pushing 53.. And naw the threads arent driving me nuts.. But yall are up when I am in bed or trying to spend some time with hubby..so I miss out on the fun..
Thanks for the info on free meds .. I need it.. I have been on Enbrel for the last 6 MO but hubby lost job and insurance.. So far my medicare coverage has refused to pay for it.. Surprise it is 1500 a month.. I have enough through January and then I don't know.. I am worried cuz I don't want to go back to like I was, which was virtuallly no life what so ever due to the pain and stuff..
Hubby started work at walmart this morning but he is making 4 dollars an hour less and no health insurance (if we can friggin even afford it) for 6 MO.. But some money is better than no money I guess.

I wasn't so lucky. the lay off hit me like a ton of bricks. Gigi is the only good thing that came out of it. They both keep me going and always seem to make me smile when I am at my worst. I love dogs!!

I lost 40% of my income when I became ill but I never lived on my salary every time I got a raise I saved it for a rainy day - boy oh boy I never thought a storm was coming! I always lived below my salary and it is a good thing I did or I would be in big trouble now.

Well i hope it doesn't come to that...or atleast if the Good Lord deems a move it is without the stress!

You are right Peggy...they are WAY more pretty than the wool ones!!!! I know what you mean about TIGHT budgets!!! We took a HUGE pay cut this last year and we are dying. No hope of it coming back either. I am just praying we don't lose our house!!! But...if we do we will be fine. I know the Lord will provide what we need...and maybe a move might be a nice thing. I love my little house but...I could love another!

Those sweaters look like they are worth more then the wool ones. I am going nuts, because you guys keep showing me all these great things that I want to buy for Gigi and I won't be able to handle it until after the holidays! That's a tough call being disabled and not having insurance, I feel bad for them. I hope she sells to a boutique shops, atleast that should give her some type of steady income from the sweaters. Believe me I know what it is like to be on a very limited income, I have been their myself for over a year, being out of work and have health issues too, it stinks, and it is scary!

They vary from 20 and up - they are amazing and like I said she and her husband are disabled and live in a small trailer and have no health insurance so she can really use the cash. But if money is a problem if you are honest with her she will work with you - she has always been so fair to me as she knows that I am on a limited budget. Nancy

I have gotten some sweaters from a lady called Dora Jean (that is really her dog's name) and she is so sweet and kind and I just love her for those of you who have facebook you can find her under Dora Jean Sweaters - you will see Abbey as she has posed for some of her sweaters or her website is www.dog-sweaters.mysite.com tell her that I referred you. She does some amazing bead work. Nancy and the girls
She has even made matching hats for Abbey I will see if I can find the pic to send. She has an amazing and kind heart, she always lifts me up and she has had such a hard life but she still loves to do for others and is grateful for all she has. --- On Fri, 11/19/10, Deanna Corey <[email protected]> wrote:
