Hi Shauna!

Welcome to the group! I am Shanna, (rhymes with Anna) living in Las Vegas and
am "owed" by Ricky my chi rescue 4 months ago. He is still adjusting but doing
well. My advice is since you have only had Lila for a week, it will take some
time for all the dogs to adjust to each other. You Maltese is in the jealous
stage! LOL but with some time they will work it out. chihuahua's are always the
BOSS.... :)

Hello to the group,
My name is Shauna and I just joined this group because I adopted a Chi last
week from a local shelter that rescued her. I am not sure of her history other
than that she was rescued. I am not new to dog ownership and Lila is the third
canine member of my "pack" and I am very happy with her. She has blended very
well so far with my 7LB Maltese cross and my 23LB Pug/Boston cross. Having said
that she has definitely tried to dominate the other two dogs. My Pug cross is
fine with this but the Maltese, Zoe isn't crazy about the idea. Any hints on
how to deal with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Now for a little about me....I'm 44 and a Registered Nurse. I have always been
a dog lover and have trained and competed in agility in the past. I have also
trained several dogs in obedience and have assisted in obedience classes that
were run by the local CKC at one time.
I have always rescued dogs and have had a wide variety of experiences both good
and heart breaking. I am looking forward to meeting you all and being a part of
this group. I have posted a picture of Lila and my other 2 mutts so you can put
faces to names a little easier.
Cheers!
Shauna
