It's the first time I have seen your story too. Those pups sure are lucky that your hubby was determined to save them. I wouldn't be surprised if someone just dumped them their with the rest of the garbage. If so, it's so inhumane and happy to hear they are being loved now.

I am sure there are many new people here also that have not heard it. SWEET STORY! I would like to know if the 2 little dogs were still aggressive once in your house? Your hubby deserves a HIGH 5!! But since I need to practice on my blackberry, here goes again. March 2009 was very wet and cold here. We live out of town in a rural farming area. Just at the end of our dirt road, a paved road runs perpendicular. The paved road starts in town and then runs all the way out here. It is only used by a few people, locals, tractors, milk trucks and people wanting to dump trash. They bring the trash out here and dump it on the side of our road and leave quickly so they don't get caught. Well March of last year, where we usually see the trash, my husband saw two little scared dogs. He didn't think much about it at the time, assuming they lived on one of the nearby farms. He made several more trips in and out of town over the next few hours. The weather was getting much worse and the little dogs were still there. Running up and down the road and looking terrified. They had good reason to be afraid. If the cold and rain had not killed them that night, the coyotes or hawks and owls surely would have. As it was almost dark, he decided to rescue them. He came home, got blankets, and welding gloves and took off after them. First he caught the light one and brought her home. It took him more than an hour to catch her. She was cold, wet, and frightened. He sat and worried about the little black dog he hadn't been able to catch, it was all alone outside. So he took off again. Two hours later he arrived home with a very cold, scared and angry dog. My husbands welding glove had sustained a nice big hole from sharp little teeth. Well that's how my two angels arrived here. I wonder about what kind of things happened to them before they landed here, but I hope the home we have given them erases any bad memories Sent on the TELUS Mobility network with BlackBerry
