Hello Everyone,
I live in Alberta Canada and have 3 dogs, the most recent addition to the
family has been Lilah, a 4 year old Chi. The rescue place we got her from
recommended getting her Micro-chipped as well as tattooed because apparently
there are still some areas here that either have a reader that isn't universal
or don't have one at all. I got Lilah both seeing as she was getting spayed
this week anyhow and my Boston/Pug cross has just the chip. My older dog has
neither. I still believe that a good old fashioned collar is the first place a
typical person would look who may run across a stray dog out running alone so I
wear collars on all 3 with and ID tags. It is a bit of noise to get used to
and Lilah hates the collar too but I am hoping she will get used to it over
time.
