I agree... I have the UTMOST respect for ALL rescues.. no matter WHAT the breed!! My favorite breed of course is "DOGS"!! I have 3 of the MOST DIFFERENT breeds one could have. Eskie, Chi and German Shep... and I love them ALLLL with ALL my heart!!! I will say a prayer for you that you get your dream pup.. You have 2 months right to see if there is a way for you to get this baby that you want so much!! I'm sorry about your yorkie.. :( XOXOXOXOXOXO Gina Vasquez Blog: http://daddyslittlescrapper.blogspot.com/ From: Kavi <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Fri, December 3, 2010 9:53:27 AM Subject: RE: [Chihuahuas] Please pray my friends. / Deanna & group Hi Deanna & everyone I have to jump in here on this subject. I was not going to get involved with this but I changed my mind. As much as I am for rescue, I think Deanna has done her share of rescues in her life. She now deserves to have what she has always wanted. A puppy yorkie she can raise on her own and know it will have no issues like a rescue can. No one says everyone has to rescue everytime. In order to get a really good purebred dog that you know the background on, you have to go to a really good breeder. I would love to get a purebred chihuahua puppy, that I can raise up myself and train my way. I still want a Merle, but the brindle is next on my list! female only. I think Deanna is dealing with so many things right now. She has a family, her own dogs, she is on several dog groups, sews for doggies, supports everyone around her... and yet she gets told she should rescue a yorkie... when she wants a puppy from a good breeder. Like I said, she has rescued many dogs in her life I am sure. And she would continued to do it also. But give her some support about this Yorkie pup she wants. Its something she has ALWAYS wanted, dreamed of. She had the perfect yorkie lately that was taken from her. Lets back her up on this, encourage her, help her. There also are people who do not get a dog at a shelter just because they do not know the background on the dog. I have had to work with Ricky alot these 4 months to get him where he is today. He is getting so good about everything and he is trying really hard to trust strangers. I love Ricky with all my heart.. would never give him up. He is the cutest! AND SMARTEST! My point here is lets support Deanna in her decision of getting this puppy yorkie. She has been there for all of us! RIGHT? She help everyone on this list. I know I might get a little nip from this post, but its ok. I can take it. I know most of you will agree with me. The ones who don't, that is ok too. You have a right to your opinion as everyone else. DEANNA, I SUPPORT YOU ALL THE WAY TO GET THE PUPPY YORKIE! I also am so very sorry for Nugget. I wish I could change things for you. If you need to talk, email me privately and I will give my phone # to you and we can talk. I am here for you!! Hugs to you and the gang Shanna "My Chihuahua Ricky, Is A Heartbeat At My Feet." Just an idea From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Deanna Corey Sent: Thursday, December 02, 2010 10:59 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [Chihuahuas] Please pray my friends. This may sound so silly to some of you but ever since Madison went home with her family I have been praying the Lord would bring me another Yorkie. I really thought He brought me Madison but I think there were other reasons that Madison came my way . I have no idea if this could be an answer but if you believe in prayer I would like to ask you guys to pray about this situation. A friend of mine from one of my parrot boards...a lady I have not talked to in almost a year emailed me privately to tell me that the breeding they tried last year but didn't take, worked this year and they now have a litter of pupps...2 weeks old. One female. She knows nothing of the story about Madison...she has no idea what transpired. She did know how badly I wanted one of her babies but the breeding didn't work...the parents are just wonderful!!! Great personalities and what a great family!! Anyway...she offered me the female. There are so many facets of this that would have to work. First of all the Lord would have to give me $900...as thats what she is asking for the female...great price for her but there is no $900 in my bank account right now!!!...SEcond...she is in TX and I am in CA...the Lord would have to get me there or her here...so lots of obstacles! I do not want to push to make this happen...but i do want to pray...and ask you to as well...that if this is meant to be all the details will work out. Maybe this little baby is meant to be my Madison. Anyway...just pray if you believe in prayer. Thanks in advance!!
