You know those balloon style ones? I was sewing Chi socks this morning from
old T's. 1st I put the socks on her, then the rubber booties. They put too
much salt on the sidewalks around here as we have a few handicapped buildings
nearby.
At 1st I wanted to scream with frustration. A wiggling pup and these tiny
rubber sock-shoes were a nightmare. But we won. They slip off easily when you
get where you're going but stay on well too. I just wish the colours weren't
size specific. Her size is yellow.
Dali did very well with them on - in fact on our way home she demanded a run
around the back field. Today I was the co-ordinator for the Senior's Pot Luck
Xmas party. 9 - 2pm cooking & cleaning. Dali stayed in the front office and
slept with her hot water bottle in her crate. She's very good when I go to
work. Only thing is I have to carry the crate = worse when it is local & I'm
walking. So I left the crate in the middle of the field while we ran all over.
I had to let her have a run after her being so good about the boots & the long
wait.
