Yes I agree about the brains!! right now Ricky and the kitty are together with the kittys rice pad under a blanket laying together. I did take pics and will try to send when I upload them. I hope he learns how warm they will keep him if he leaves them under him and not play with them like a toy. I caught him with his trying to tear it up! holding it down with his front feet, then tugging at it with his teeth! Darn him!

I ordered 2 snuggle bags from Heather and Emiliano loves them. I keep one on his bed in the den and the other in his tent (his night bed) in his x pen. He has learned to move them around and bunch them up just like he likes them. Its kind of neat to see how their brains work. One is for Ricky and one for our kitten. Ricky thinks its a toy. Now these are heavy! It was pretty funny to watch him try to drag this pad around to put it where he wanted it. He has not learned yet to lay on it... he just wants it near him. I would not be able to use a heating pad because Ricky wants to drag / move everything around. Today he drug the rice pad out of his bed onto the floor in front of his bed. I went to move it back into his bed and he wanted to take my head off!! I was not happy about that. Its 2 steps forward with him and 1 step back. He was pisssed off!! If my purse was not there, it would have been my hand he bit. He got ahold of my purse handle... well anyway he was very very angry. I have not seen him like that before with me. sometimes I just want to take all his toys and etc's away from him. This morning he was a bit sick to his tummy... vomited up 2 times some yellow bile. also when he did is contribution to the lawn out front, it was bigger than normal. more like a cocker spaniel size ..if you know what I mean. LOL Maybe he is not feeling well today. shanna "My Chihuahua Ricky, Is A Heartbeat At My Feet." Make Buckwheat pillows...just a simple square sewed up with whole buckwheat from a healthfood store put in. If you are making a 12" square pillow you would need about 4 cups of buckwheat. Heat in microwave and stays warm for 2-3 hours. 2. Heating pads from Rite Aid or Walgreens or Online. Get the ones WITHOUT auto shut off so they stay on all night or all day. They run about $10. and are about 18" square. I position these under a dog bed or make a polar fleece slip cover for them. If you are worried about chewed cords then run the coards through a length of PVC pipe. I covered my "pipes" with cute matching fabric so I didn't have a white plastic pipe showing. 3. And of course one can never have too many pairs of winter PJ's for lounging around the house LOL...both me and the dogs! LOL!!! Someday when I get the time I want to make a set of matching PJ's for all of us...wouldn't it be cute??? 5 little dogs all snuggled in polar fleece or flannel Pj's matching mine for Movie and popcorn time!?? I know..I am so wierd!!!! These are just 2 cheap options!!! I would LOVE to have heated beds but they are pricey so I just use the heating pads and the buckwheat pillows. You can throw cinnimon into the buckwheat so every time you toss it in the microwave your whole house smells YUMMY!!! My dogs seem to really enjoy the smell of cinnemon too! When I make my polar fleece dog beds I sew in a pocket that holds the buckwheat pillows which keeps the dogs from dragging them around like toys.
