Well Laura...you KNOW my advice would be jump in with BOTH feet!!! LOL!! I do really think that dogs are happier and more balanced having a little pack to be a part of...they need it!!! They need us too...don't get me wrong...but I LOVE to see them being "dogs" with each other...things I can't do with them. Having that "dog" time has never taken anything away from my time or my position with them...but I do think it gives them the whole balanced life. As much as I love to humanize them and make them my babies...which they do enjoy...I KNOW they also enjoy getting to be a dog with their dog buddies!!! Thats one thing about dogs...their "love baskets" never run out!!! They have tons to give and more to pull from...they don't ever need to "decide" who to give their attention to...it just comes naturally...and spontaneously and they just don't worry about the silly things we do...they just LOVE!!! We should be more like dogs!!!! LOL!!!
