Deanna, there are no words to describe it - I feel that it has honestly been the only unconditionally love I have ever known besides God's love for me (and my grandkids and daughter Michelle). Without them I am not sure I would be here today or I know that I would not be the same person. They have gotten me through the hardest and best times of my life and every day I thank God for them. I think God picks the right dog for us too, just like our babies we get what we are suppose to have. I got Abbey three days after Sami passed and she knew I had a broken heart and she just cuddled up to me and would not leave my side for months. We both needed each other as I know that had I not of gotten her she would of been used to breed and I am sure she would of made a wonderful mom, but God made her special just for me as he did my Maggie and my Sami. I think God made Dogs for us to learn how we are suppose to love and honor our father (God) and to forgive and forget and how to really love and trust even when we have been hurt. God loves us just like our Dogs love us. I posted that on my Facebook and I could watch it a million times! Thank you my dear friend for sharing it with me.
