Sounds just perfect... how fun. Sunday afternoon rides were a thing of my childhood too... My Grandma lived with us so it was just me and mom and grandma... my father died when I was 3.... anyway, we three always went out on Sunday afternoon, quite often it was the only outing Grandma got... she was in her late 80s by then... she lived to the age of 98 and danced at my wedding...

Hello My friends!!! Today was such a peaceful, beautiful special day!!! After a wonderful decadent calorie rich breakfast...cooked by my lovely husband...and after the late service at church...he took us for a Sunday car ride in the country. When I was a kid, Sunday afternoons were all about getting the Buick out, and a long drive in the country with my Grandparents. Today was just like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only Myrtle, Mable, Mouse and Shuai-Li went too. Nugget stayed home with my oldest son...I worry about him having a seizure on the road. Anyway...Mark, Molly my 12 year old and all the dogs and I spent the day driving and looking at beautiful houses and ranches...we found a lovely field where we picniced and let the pups romp. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! Then...as the night rolled in we drove through all the spectacular light displays!!!! AHHHH today was a perfect day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
