Hi
fixing an older male dog does not guarantee that they will not continued to
mark. The problem being that once a male dog marks someplace, the other males
will mark on top of it. Its a territorial natural behavior. You have to get rid
of the urine smell completely! you can use a black light made for finding
urine, then buy some of the NATURES MIRACLE FOR DOG URINE. It is guaranteed to
get rid of the urine & smell completely! you must follow the directions
carefully. But really in order to get rid of all the urine, use a black light
made for that. some pet stores carry it. The other thing you might try is using
those male pee pee wraps that go around the belly & pee pee to help them not
pee. I can not remember the name of them, but I know someone will know.

this is natural male dog behavior when not fixed young. Its not there fault...
they are only doing what nature intended. You can also crate them separately. a
crate big enough for them to stand, turn around, and lay down stretched out
will help them hold it until you take them out.
taking them all out once every hour to relieve themselves will help also. (not
so much urine in your house).

We have 4 dogs, 2 chi's (both male, one is fixed, the other has a hightened
testicle inside one outside, needing to get nuetered), a mini un-altered
schnauzer, and ahhh yes a spayed female pitbull. quite a mix, now our dilemma,
well mine is that the boys all mark in the house, sometimes just too lazy to
ask to go outside. tried paper training, wanting to get a potty patch, any
other suggestions. besides choking them all!!??? J/K just tired of the marking
or relieving themselves wherever they feel like it, for New Year's EVERYONE'S
getting fixed!!
