Hi nan, If feeding regular raw diet the feeding ratio is 3% of adult body weight...so a 10 lb dog would get 5.3 oz. The formula? Take the weight of your dog and multiply by 16...the # of ounces in a lb...then take that number and multiply it by .03 for 3% of food to feed.
The 10% they suggest seems high to me but I might just let them eat till full for a bit and monitor their weight till you figure what they need.
