Great diagnosis Dr. Deanna! I remember our neighbors dog going to the bathroom on our lawn when I was a little girl and seeing these long worms moving in his poop. It scared me and I ran and told the owner and they said aww it's no big deal all dogs have worms in their poop. I do not remember that dog being around for a long time come to think of it..... When I got my first dog I was responsible for paying for all her care and food, I was 10 years old but had a job at my grandfathers laundry mats (hard work) and helping him clean his rentals. The vet was a young man and just starting his business right next to my grandfathers and he let me make payments when I had her spayed. I never missed a payment. He was a very kind man and I loved his name. Dr. Disney. My dog lady never missed her check-ups or shots. My grandfather was and is my hero as he taught me how to be a hard worker if you wanted things in life and to be honest always no matter what. I never met a person that did not respect him and love him as he had several businesses and was fair to everyone. Wow how did I get from bloody stool to my grandfather. Sorry gals I tend to womder at times. Nancy

Knowing that blood in the stool is often indicative of real problems in people, folks see a bit of blood in their dogs stool following diarhea and, understandably, become very concerned. 95% of the time this will simply end when the stomach upset subsides. That being said, it rarely HURTS to consult a vet, but I don't find that necessary unless the situation goes on for more than a few days, or if the amount of blood is really substantial rather than streaky. --- In [email protected], lgoru...@... wrote: > > Hi everyone, Monster is having some problems that started yesterday.
