Hey guys...i thought of a few ideas that might help make this committment
easier
for the upcoming year.

1. Shop the dollar stores to get some cheap cards so that you are prepared for
the entire year...i just saw a really cute pack for a dollar that had a few
birthday, a few thank you, a few get well and a few Thinking of you all in one
pack for abuck!

2. Address your envelopes ahead of time and put stamps on them too.

3. Set up an alias through your email account...something like
[email protected] easy to do through any eamil program...gmail,
hotmail etc...they are free! You can close it at the end of the year!

4. Carry your secret pals info with you in your purse so when and if you are
out
and about you have the list of info right there in front of you. The other day
I
was out at a doggie boutique and they had a $5 sale bin...beautiful outfits
normally 30-50 dollars for $5. Had I had my questionaire already assigned and
with me I could have easily chose something for my secret pal. So be prepared!!!

5. There are so many things to share that would take more effort than cash...I
make doggie bones...organic snacks for my gang...I plan on sharing a little box
of those for my secret pal sometime this year. So think like that! If you dont
have the time or the cash for the ingredients sharing the recipe is just as
nice!!!

6. Hand me downs...many of us "nuts" dress our dogs...I for one LOVE to!!!
But..I have many things that my pack don't like, wont wear, have outgrown, not
my fav etc that I could pass on to my secret pal.

7. This is the time to excersise your skills...many of you knit, crochet
etc....go online and find free dog sweater patterns and give it a shot...you
have nothing to lose!!! Try your hand at an outfit or a collar or a bow or
legwarmers....whatever you might want to try!!

8. Think of the person too...not just the dogs!!! I for one would be ecstatic
to
get a piece of chocolate in the mail...you might even hear the dancing and
screams of joy miles away!!!! Or Jelly Bellies...they dont melt!!! Little sweet
things to send that would be super inexpensive might be votive candles,
sachets...homemade or purchased, pictures, bookmarks, notecards or homemade
stationary, stickers, paper crafts, silk flowers.

I know I will think of more...but these are just a few ideas...again...not
rules
or ANYTHING mandatory...except the chocolate for me LOL...just ideas to get you
thinking!!!
