A while back we took in the Chi this group helped name, Holly Noel, well she went into heat about 3 or more weeks ago right before she was set to be spayed and is still in it. At first she had very dark old looking blood and then nothing, but last night she started to have a fresh light colored red blood discharge. Is this typical of older dogs? She is rescheduled to be spayed in Febuary but I am concerned about the bleeding.
