Hi Carol

yes, just remember you have saved them. who cares about others you do not even
know. chi poop on them. If I could have another one I would. I saved Ricky at a
no kill... he was skin and bones, and was a owner turn in for what ever reason.
He is 4 years old. I thought at first the owners negleted him, but after
getting him, I believe he starved at the shelter due to he does not eat dry
food. not even if you wet it with anything. So I think he went 2-3 weeks
without eating at the ASPCA and became skinny. The shelter told me the owners
turned him in because they could not afford to feed him. Ricky weighs now about
4.5-5lbs. There is no way in the world anyone could not afford to feed him. He
does not eat much... he is picky, but if I have to hand feed him his food, I do
just to get him to eat. also my hubby spoils him badly!! he gives him many
doggie treats in the day time and also gives him some of our dinner meat. I
have tried and tried to tell him not to
do that.. he needs to eat his own food for nutrition... :(
ricky is still a thin dog, but his ribs, hip bones and spine do not show
anymore and I love him dearly... grumpyness and all.

bottom line...... like I said Carol, your babies are not on death row...or in a
cold cage with no love. I could go on and on... but I wont. I have attached a
few pic of Ricky, Ricky and my hubby, and Ricky wearing his new sweater he got
from our secret pal in Nov... & his blue elephant that he got also... that he
loves!!
