I love them both. In my case, potty training Desi (male) was very difficult. Dolly has the perfect little girl personality…and Desi is the rough and tumble little boy. Now that doesn’t mean that all are like that. There are cuter clothes for girls (I do dress mine every day – in the winter because they are cold; and in the summer to prevent them from getting skin cancer.) I would say that you need to spend some time with them and experience their personalities…they are old enough to have some personality already formed. You will feel that one is the right one for you…and also you may find that neither seem right for you.Good luck…I am very excited for you! And she said that it is fat that is on him.... I just dont know which one to get... Either the male or the female? --- On Thu, 1/20/11, Joan Croft <[email protected]> wrote: From: Joan Croft <[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Chihuahuas] (unknown) To: [email protected] Date: Thursday, January 20, 2011, 12:27 PM He looks like full Chihuahua to me.Just a word of caution (because I have been there) just because a breeder or someone told you that he will be 7 lbs does not mean that he will. My Desi Lou weighed 6 lbs at 4 months (and the vet had me put him on adult food then because he had too much fat) and now he weighs a little over 9 lbs. His parents were 4 ½ and 5 ½ lbs. Desi is very lean. He is taller and longer than Dolly. Your puppy looks like he has some extra fat on him. Please ask your vet if he thinks that the puppy has extra fat…losing it as a puppy is much easier than when he will be older.
