I know this is a controversial subject for many, but I have a Chihuahua (Ginger) who benefits from wearing clothing in the winter because she needs the extra layer to keep warm. She's also a year-round sunbather (even taking advantage of sun streaming through the windows indoors), and I worry about skin cancer because she is white with no undercoat so the extra layer helps protect her delicate skin.
I'm curious to know other Chi owner's thoughts on dog apparel. Does your Chi wear clothing? How often and why? Seasonally, holiday, every day... for protection, fun, fashion?
