Deanna, you little trouble maker! I luv you for it, lol! My printer isn't even hooked up to my lap. You would be better off going to a printer and have them do it, the quality would be so much better to.
If you really want to do this, then you should ask each person to send you their photo's. Some craft stores also have copy machines just for this. You can also buy the sheets in any craft store, as well as the iron-on transfer sheets. They have been around for years. What I want to know is, who is going to do the actual stitching onto the quilt so that it looks like a quilt, you know that cross type stitch that makes it look like you hand sewed each iron-on transfer square onto the fabric? Then you are also talking about having some one do a lot of them, if a lot of people want to buy them. I think you did the math wrong, if you can get 6 pics on one sheet and their are 10 sheets in a box, then you have 60 pics per box. The backing of the quilt could also be a real good quality sheet, so that cuts cost too. The fabric for the top of the quilt can be any good plain material, including a sheet that you could cut into squares your self. Remember, once you use the iron-on transfers with the pic, you will not see the square material any more. You may want to Google quilting clubs. The real goods ones go for thousands of dollars, I was shocked when I saw it on TV. -------Original Message------- From: Deanna Corey Date: 1/23/2011 8:54:57 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! (GROUP PICTURE) Oh my Gloria...what an awesome idea!! I want one too...I use to have some of that copy/computer fabric...I never used it and gave it away. How would we be able to actually do this? Would we need all the pics and then download them all to our own computers and then print out all the pics on that special fabric? Or...hee hee heed...maybe we send the fabric sheets to Peggy and pay her to print them off for us...ahhhh what do you think? My favorite thing to do is quilt!!! Wagging Tails in the Dog Park!
