I just read their site and I guess Gigi can't have this one either, since it
can cause seizures. Which is probably what started the seizures with her
last summer. Ivermectin is a natural substance from a plant but has always
been know to have side effects.

Years ago when I bred English Budgies, it was the Vet's choice for bird
mites, and guaranteed to be safe.  Well I lost several of my show birds
thanks to it's safety features!!!

Be careful Gloria, all of this stuff are insectides know matter which way we
look at it.

The most common adverse reaction reported is vomiting.
Other adverse reactions reported in decreasing order of frequency are:
depression/lethargy, decreased appetite, incoordination, diarrhea, itching,
trembling, excessive salivation and seizures.

Peggy, I would check with your vet.  The same thing with the medicines, here
s what Emiliano is taking,
Heartgard (prevent heartworms) and Comfortis (kills fleas and prevent
infestations).
