Emiliano also has a fear of people, especially men, and I've had him since he was 8 weeks old,so I don't think he has a history of being abused by a male. It might be because he and I are the only ones in the house.  I've taken him to a couple of meetups and he seems to be doing somewhat better about being around other people.  This past week we had house guests, he loved the female (she has and breeds Chis)
he was just tolerable of the male.  He surprised me by letting my friend pick him up and hold him, he even gave her kisses.
