I am disabled also and I can’t walk Dolly & Desi as often or as far as they
deserve. They have the back yard to run around in, but I think that they love
Mommy’s lap the best. They are very smart and pick up on our weaknesses, so
yours are happy to just have you!

I take Taylor for daily walks. As far as I can, which, unfortunately, is not
as far as is really necessary. I am disabled. I can get around and drive but
going places is a big deal for me so rarely get out. There are a couple of
parks close by.........one dog park and several regular parks. At the regular
parks, unsavory types seems to hang out there. At the dog park, most of the
dogs are huge. And I can't run around and chase there. So we make do with our
walks. Not ideal but best I can do. I live alone.

Hugs,
Linda

Yup, he is a big one, but oh what a cute face! It always amazes how Chi's can
be so many different sizes and so many colors!

Don't you have doggie parks that you could take him to? We are lucky here, just
a couple of years ago, we got a dog run the next town over. During the good
weather we go several times a week and they love it. I have to say that
Princess is showing signs of cabin fever. This is the longest that she has ever
been couped up. Their has just been too much snow and ice everywhere for over a
month to even go for a short walk. So I have to use an expandable leash while I
stand at the front door to let her do her business. Gigi uses the pads, which
works out great. But because they are both fully housebroken, and never chew
things that they are not suppose to, I never have to coup them up in a crate or
playpen. They have full run of the apartment at all times.

Thank you for the welcome Peggy. I am looking forward to getting acquainted
with everyone.

Taylor is a big guy......didn't dream he would be so big. He is 15 pounds and
is a short hair. His birthday is March 15 and he will be 5 years old. I
have had him since he was 3 months old. He was the best puppy I have ever had.
I have had Chihuahuas and other dogs in the past. Kept him in a playpen at
night and on a leash during the day. He uses puppy pads to this day. Although
he will go outside too. I only have a patio. He has never had a yard to just
romp and play in unfortunately.

He has a sweet adorable face which unfortunately doesn't really show up in
pictures. He is loved by all. I have attached his picture.

Hugs,
Linda
