Yes it was, an after five years in different shops, I gave up. Unless you own your own, you can not do the right things for the animals. Pet shop owners really know how to put on a good front for the public. If the public knew of all the awful garbage that goes on behind closed doors, then most people wouldn't want to buy any life stock from them. The birds are treated even worse. Animals are nothing more then merchandise that brings in revenue to most pet shops. I only worked for one place that really cared for their animals, to the point that even snakes and iguanas went to the Vet if necessary. They were so particular that if they felt a customer couldn't understand and wasn't committed to taking proper care of their pet, then they wouldn't sell it to them, and they did not sell dogs and cats. -------Original Message------- From: MJ Turner Date: 2/6/2011 6:14:13 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Vaccination question Wow, Peggy. Managing a pet store must have been really heartbreaking. I'm so glad that you were able to save those two pups yourself. Absolutely
love, affection, kindness, gentle voices etc are just as important to a sick pup as the medications you give them. hugs, mj and benji -----Original Message----- From: Peggy & The Girls <[email protected]> To: Chihuahuas <[email protected]> Sent: Sun, Feb 6, 2011 3:48 pm Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Vaccination question
