Hi Portia!

If she had a cycle this past summer, then she is due for another one now.
They usually go into heat every six months. Their cycle can last for three
weeks, before they are totally finished.

If she is in heat now, then you have to wait 2 to 3 months AFTER she
finishes her cycle so that her hormones are balanced and that way she won't
have any side effects from the spay.

Is their some one that can take a look at her for you? They usually swell up
a bit, even if you don't see any staining yet. I used doggie diapers on my
Gigi, they really help to cut down on the mess on everything, including your
lap, LOL!

I am so sorry that the timing is wrong. You have been through so much just
to get this done. at least now you know where to go and you will have plenty
of time to make arrangements again for the next appointment.

Hey great!

I got her bag as I said today..
Also, I have a question I am supposed to get her spaid on the 19th, and she
had her heat cycle back in the summer.

Is there a cycle the hey go through?

I may have to make another app as she is doing a lot of licking and I know
she did that when she had her cycle back in the summer of last year..
