Thank you Ann...first off...I’m VERY glad you recovered completely from your stroke! Great news! My daughter is 35 years old...and can be completely stupid about her sugar...my dad has been diabetic for years...also one of my sons and one of my grand-daughters are diabetic...so my daughter is aware of all the problems she can cause herself...she was in ICU in 2008...at that time she was VERY sick...she actually died twice and they were able to revive her..she still drinks (Captain Morgan...Vodka...who knows what else) smokes...and eats and drinks things she knows she shouldn’t. My whole family has tried to talk to her...it’s a shame...she married and has two kids (11 and 15) I can’t stand the way they live...but there’s not much I can do.

I had a stroke July of 2009 and nmow take Plavix to prevent strokes. I am about fully recovered now. I am a diabetic also and know that your daughter needs to take care of herself now. I love her to death...but she doesn’t take care of herself...she gets me SO mad! When they admitted her ...her sugar was around 500! She has an insulin pump...but she mis-uses it. My son has a pump...and does great...but if my daughter wants to eat something she shouldn’t...and she knows it...she gives herself more insulin... My sister who had the massive heart attack in August is VERY sick...we’ve been trying to get her to go to the hospital since Monday! I think she might have pneumonia...she has COPD...congestive heart failure and other health issues with her breathing. I’m very worried about her. Ok...just wanted to update you all...I have to get busy in here...haven’t been home much because of the hospital...I need to get some work done...my leg are VERY sore...I got woke up with MAJOR muscle spasms last night...at one point my heel was against the calf of my leg..there was nothing I could do...then it just released...scared the crap out of me...and the pain...there’s no way to describe it! It’s so darn cold no one wants to do anything! Sox...Mooch and Peanut have been pretty good...I don’t MAKE them go outside...but they want to...especially Sox...he thinks he’s a Husky!
