We all care about the little pregnant dog, This is so sad. I hope it all works out. I have to say I'm very disappointed at all of the finger pointing and all of the Holley than now attitude. Carol asked for advice. She is trying to help her daughters dog. Give her a break. And with the other lady that sold the sick dog. OK it was wrong, but to go on and on Is just pathetic. We all have problems, some money, some health and I'm sure I haven't even touch the all the other problems we have. Let be nice and try to help!!!!!! I know we are all very nice people that have just got carried away. I would would like to apologize for any hurt feeling and I'm sure that there are a lot. --- On Tue, 2/15/11, Carol Smet <[email protected]> wrote:
From: Carol Smet <[email protected]> Subject: [Chihuahuas] WOW To: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, February 15, 2011, 5:49 PM I don't know How I could have missed so much but wow have I missed a ton. First the lady (attorney) that can't afford heat. Please! I work for a not for profit at slave wages and my husband works in a distribution center and we care for fosters, rescues, and whatever else we can do and heat an old farm house at the tune of over $600.00 a month this time of the year. I have 11 chi's in the house and none of them have ever had a cold. They have their own heating system and each of them have piles of blankets that are laundered daily! This is my responsibility and I wouldn't have it any other way. That lady needs to pay the vet bills and move on. Then I read about a lady with a two pound prego chi with Yorkie pups. What the heck ever lady! If this is all true ANY good rescue would take that chi and get emergency care. I have no doubt because I work with several and we do what it takes to save the chi. Cost is a concern only after the fact. Carol Lopez if you read this I have something personal to say. I can't find the post to make a direct quote but something was said about an autistic son. I cannot believe that this would have been brought into anything. I have spent my life dedicated to the autistic population. I work my days with these children and they are a special group. The parents are wonderful, caring and loving parents. I can't think of a single parent that would have played the autistic child card. Shame on you if that was your intent. If not, please accept my apology but that is how it came across. I know the struggles that this neurological disorder brings to a family, but most parents take on the challenge and deal with it. We all have our crosses to bare that is the way of life. This group loves the breed and will help in many ways to protect the breed. If I knew where you were at and where the little chi was, I would personally see to it that you be investigated for animal abuse! You should have done something to prevent this from happening, not depend on a child to do so. She should have been spayed at 6 months. Now you are risking her life. I will pray for her. My little grace is a 2 pound chi and for the get go my vet said she should NEVER be a mommy and I seen to it she won't be. Do the responsible thing and turn this chi over to someone who can care for her. Now Has anyone heard from the lady that posted a while back looking for help with a chi that was born with a clef pallet? I was able to get info for her and never heard another word. Okay I think I will switch gears and read some good news! Carol Muchacha, Bella Rose, Chibbie, Blue, Cooper, Ruth Anne, Gracie, ChiChi, Granny, Holly Noel and Maxx
