Wow! Princess is a keeper. Smart AND the cutest antics I've ever heard of avoiding the rain. Wonder what makes almost all Chihuahuas dread going out in it? (Other than rain feels miserably cold but then again, snow does also.) Anyone? Come to think of it, I will do almost anything to avoid going out when it is raining and snow seems doable, more negotiable, more fun, not nearly as unpleasant as rain at all and why wouldn't Chis feel exactly the same. I don't mind the snow as long as I don't have to drive in it and it doesn't last for months, like it did this winter. Princess refuses to poop in the rain, and she refuses to go on pads or paper, so she will hold it in until the rain stops. Once it stops she knows just by listening to it, then she makes a mad dash for the door and barks for me let her out. She quickly does her business and then runs back inside again.
