Thank you Joan! I'm glad too that I wasn't injured severely. I'm so sorry you
have to go through that.

He is a little cutie!

I am glad that you were not injured in the accident. I don't have one of
those stories because the two times that I was rear-ended real hard have
caused me numerous surgeries, steroid injections, constant medication for
muscle spasms, pain, neuropathy, etc. Currently my doctors are trying to
find out why I have vertigo when I tip my head back a little. I have been
taking the Antivert since August.when I stopped taking it for a few days, I
lost my balance and fell on my hard tile floors and tore the meniscus in my
right knee. Both my cervical and lumbar spine started to have more pain
since that fall, so they are doing MRIs on my lower back, knee, and then
this week one on my brain. I also have to see a vascular specialist as it
could also indicate a blockage in my carotid artery when I tip my head back.
I think that if the brain MRI and the carotid artery evaluation, I have to
have more steroid shots in two levels of my neck, and/or surgery to fuse the
two herniated disks that I still have in my neck, if it turns out that when
I tip my head back the herniated disks might be pushing on the spinal cord
(I have a very narrow spinal canal so it doesn't give much room for the
herniated disk to protrude before big time problems. Unfortunately, if the
fault is due to the narrow canal, the fusion may be necessary. I rather go
through the surgery than to have the disks push too far and cause some sort
of paralysis.

So, Lorena, I know right now it doesn't minimize what you have been through,
but I am soooo glad that you did not suffer a big injury.

Dolly & Desi send Monster puppy kisses, and I am sending you a big hug to
get through the physical and emotional toll that you have been through.

Joan

Here's some pictures of Monster on his pillow that he rode on in the back
seat of the car. He was so excited when I pulled it out of the dryer! He
jumped on it when it was still in my arms.
