Deanna, do you think that it is better for your dogs to be at home where
they have food, water, toys, and a bed or to be carried around and confined
to a small carrier and put under the restaurant tables. I am just thinking
of the quality of your dogs' life during the times when you are sneaking
them in here and there.

Yeah, sorry Deanna but if your dog is not allowed and you sneak it in anyway
then you break the rules. Why do you feel this is ok? Seriously? Okey
dokey. For me, just because no one knows it does not make it right. I just
have this very strong sense of right and wrong and fairness.

I think the key word is sneak Sheila!! I take my little guys everywhere an
no one ever knows...so it can't ruin anything cuz no one knows lol! Mouse
and Myrtle have been to the movies, claim jumper, all sorts of stores, and
everywhere I go...no one ever knows....sneaky is the operative word!!

Could you please explain your negative reply further? If your referring to
service dogs and blind-aid dogs, I fail to see how that ''makes it harder
for places to accept dogs that need to be with their owners for a reason''
since these dogs wear vest to prove why they have to be allowed by law.

But when you sneak a dog in like that it just makes it much harder for
places to accept dogs that need to be with their owners for a reason.

Yes, I remember...I was just hoping that He changed his mind by now,
especially since their have been postings of several rescue dogs in need of
homes and now puppies are available, which doesn't happen to often.

Well I guess you can continue to enjoy the group, in the mean time! You
know, if you do get a tiny chi, they fit beautifully in a purse bag that
even in restaurants it will fit under your seat. As long as the dog is
completely covered and is a quiet dog. Some of them look just like a real
purse and you can't tell that there is a dog in it.

Ohhhhh, that is really sweet of you to offer that Peggy, and thank you so
much, but as you might have picked up from some of my comments in the past,
my husband is not as enthused about having a Chihuahua as I am. He feels
they are much more responsibility than cats (he's right) and he enjoys the
ease with which we can be gone from home for extended periods of time (all
day, overnight, etc.) without any cares. I explained he or she would just
go with us everywhere, but he mentioned restaurants, stores, and various
other places we go that will not accept furry ones. I hate to go against his
wishes and just show up with an adorable little one without his blessing as
he is a really kind, loving, and thoughtful guy and don't want to make him
feel unhappy since the decision would impact him also. He oohs and aahs all
the pictures I show him of everyone's cuties here on the group, but he
really would prefer we not have one for our own. (Sigh). So I am weighing
all my options and biding my time (LOL) to make the best possible decision
for everyone in my family. In the meantime, I love living vicariously
through and hearing about everyone else's experiences with their Chis on the
group, but IF and WHEN, you will all be the first to see and hear about the
newest member of my family. Promise.

So when are you getting your dog, so I can do a pic for you?
