Oh I agree with you and I have mentioned to Rose several times that it would be nice to have a more hands on moderator, there have always been members willing to help her but she never wanted to do that so I shut up. Not my group so I just enjoy what I can. But you are right there are ways you can avoid losing members and not letting things go too far

But...that's part of having a group I think. If something goes a rye, I always think communication is the key to resolve. People think all sorts of things when they are sitting there guessing. Especially very sensitive, sweet people. They get wounded easy and then flee. Just a little info might have prevented that. Especially because up until just a month or so before that episode no one even knew we had a moderator...she wasn't involved really and didn't post. I remember you questioning a few times where the moderator was when things got a little hinky in the past...way before this latest go around. We were just kind of on our own for a very long time...so no one had any knowledge of what Rose might or might not have done to fill in the why's of what was happening. Hey guys, shanna had sent me an email for me to post for her...an apology and an I am leaving letter. I told her to just wait...don't leave the group...just to wait till things blew over...I didn't think she should leave. She felt so bad!!! So I told her I wouldn't post it...so then she emailed back and said she was just gonna take a break... In the future something that could have saved the two members that left could have been a private message from the mod to let them know what she was doing and why. Both ladies thought they were being booted because their messages were not going through...letting them know why the messages were not being let through would have been a good thing.
