Thanks Valerie. J I’m happy that she’s liking the food. You’re the only one
who responded back to my email about this. Do you think maybe my emails aren’t
going through to the rest of the group?

I haven’t posted about this in the last few weeks because I wanted to see how
it was going to work out. Some of you may remember that I had posted about my
little Twiggy losing weight. At the vet, she was given Science Diet A/D, a
high calorie wet dog food to put some weight back on. We tried that for about
2 days. I found it to be less than quality as many of you posted when I stated
that the doctor had prescribed this food.

So, I made the decision to slowly change Twiggy’s food to blue buffalo adult
food for small breeds. I mix this with blue buffalo longevity wet food and she
LOVES it. Now that I’ve gotten her settled into a good feeding routine and
she’s gained some weight back (she’s gained four ounces of the 12 ounces she
had lost) I’m working on changing Jack’s food over as well so that they can
both be on blue buffalo. I’ve done this change slowly so as not to upset
Twiggy’s little belly and have not seen any negative side effects to the
change. I just wanted to keep you all posted. I also continue to put fish oil
in Twiggy’s food to help with her skin and coat. It seems to be working well
too. We go back tomorrow to the vet to see what her weight is now. I’m
hoping for good results.
