Oh, Lorena.you have my prayers. When Dolly was about 5 months old, she was fine one minute and about five minutes later she was screeching in pain while walking. I picked her up and her tail was stuck between her legs. I set her back down and she was screeching again, and screeching if I tried to move her tail. I took her to the vet because I didn't know what was going on.her entire digestive system from her neck to the butt was all filled in. The vet kept her and put her on an IV and then when she had enough fluid, they did a puppy enema on her and helped dislodge what was at the end. Then they kept her another day and every time that she pooped they had to inspect it to see what all the little white things in the x-ray were. Turns out, she was teething and while she was in the back yard, she was eating the rocks from my yard.they must have been pretty tasty because she was full of them. Could be that Monster ate something that his system is holding on to that doesn't necessarily show up on the x-ray. A little of some foreign object in his digestive system right now could be good news!
Please keep us informed.sorry that all of this is happening to you. When you had your accident, where was Monster? Did he get thrown in the car? He was fine this morning and then this afternoon I picked him up and he whined. I put him down and he just laid down and didn't move until I moved him to take him to the vet. My vet was nice enough to meet us at the clinic instead of me having to take him to the emergency one. We're still not sure what's wrong with him... The vet was thinking is was a bulging disk but he couldn't see anything on the x-ray. It did show that his bowels are full though so he gave him something to clean them out. But he said he's never seen that cause this much pain. Monsters also having some trouble moving his left back leg... The vet gave him some anti inflammatory meds also. So we have to wait and see if this helps and I'm taking him back tomorrow to see how he's doing and maybe get more x-rays and other tests... Please pray for him. I'm so worried...
