I leave the radio on for my girls when I am gone at work. I work 5 miles from
home, so I go home to eat lunch and let them outto potty. Now if the gas keeps
going up like it has, I won't be able to go home everyday, but every other
day.

Hi
the chi that lives down stairs is not in a crate I know that because I have
talked to the couple that owns him. I do know he is 4 years old and not fixed.
I was told that before they moved here they lived with his mom and that the chi
was never alone, as his mom was home all day, so he is not use to being alone.
The lady says she comes home at her lunch to take him out for a potty break. I
can only think he will ajust to the owners coming and going. I have seen the
guy walking him, but never the lady. Yes people have to work. I asked them if
he has alot of toys to keep him company, but they said he only had a couple
toys. I suggested more like plushy toys so he can have them to make him feel
comfy. I have not heard any barking today. I had the thought that maybe if they
left there TV on or a radio if that would help him feel like someone is
there... :)

Three dogs keep each other company, that's terrific. I think one dog sitting at
home all day with no attention is very sad. Some people leave them in a crate
all day. It's just my opinion that it isn't fair to an animal to keep him
isolated all day.
