I am confused as to why you are asking now, since that email goes back to
January. I googled for the Roland NJ animal shelter and it shows that he was
adopted, thank goodness! Their are 3 other chi's on their right now. If you
are interested in rescuing any dog, just
Google for the town and state and add on animal shelter and a list will come
up on Petfinders.

Here's the link for the others that need rescue

I know, me too, but I post in hope that some one will see it. Cross post to
groups and on FB if you can. You never know who will see it. Their is also a
dozen Chi's in one CA shelter, each one is just as cute as the the next one.
I really wish people would stop breeding their pet chi's, and just save a
life by adopting one.

He is adorable--these little guys only want warm laps and love. That is how
mine are--just lap babies and I feel so sorry for those who do not have a
loving home.

Poor little guy doesn't deserve to be in a place like this. He looks like a
4 pounder. So Tiny, and you can see in his eyes, that he is terrified. Hope
some one can adopt him.

Roland is a two year old, male Chihuahua that was found as a stray. He is
currently in our medical department getting the once over. In the meantime,
we are taking applications for our boy. Due to our lack of background
information, we are looking for a home without very young children. He will
be altered and microchipped upon adoption. We have already updated his shots
and he will be available for adoption within a week or two. If you are
interested in the Chihuahua breed, please come visit Roland and our other
