Oh that is so true.. I have only had him a few days, and I love him so much.. I am sure I love him more then he loves me, if he even does yet?
When I get home he does get excited and does this jumping up thing, reminds me of my Jack R... I will just be glad when he feels he is home.. The lady I got him from called him Mason, and she said thats what the person she got him from was calling him? But all his paper work says "Ori".. So I was calling him Mason, and he just had this blank stare? After reading his paper work and saw Ori, I said it too him, and it was like a bell went off in his head.. He looked at me as if he was saying " You know me?"  So I am calling him Ori,since it seems thats what his true name is..

I think someone on this group said something in the last couple of weeks such as: ‘We don’t always get what we expected, but what we got is something that we do not want to live without.’

My Desi (who does entirely have the look of a boy) was purchased from a local breeder who said that his parents were 4 ½ and 5 ½ pounds.  Desi weighed more than that at 4 months (well he still had some fat then) and now although very trim weighs almost 10 lbs.  He isn’t exactly what I expected, but I love him so much because is a one-of-a-kind dog.  He is so loving and loves to give kisses, but he also is the little boy who wants to jump up on top of the highest furniture, and play a little rough.  But, on the other hand, he comes crying to me to hold him and when I get home and let him out of his area, he runs up the stairs to the bed and jumps up and down happy to see me and gives me kisses.  He has so much exhuberance, and he is now 18 months and the exhuberance is still there.

I think that your little ORI has hit the jackpot going to your home with you and your other little ones.  He isn’t the pap that you imagined, but he is probably so much more!  Enjoy each other!

When I got Dolly, she had a ‘respiratory infection’ but the vet said it was OK to socialize her so it must not have been kennel cough.  And, by the way, Dolly looks and acts all girl.  She is the little diva princess and loves to snuggle and cuddle.  She does everything very daintily!

Don’t forget more pictures…and maybe some with all of your babies together.

Thank you Maryjane.. He is a handsome guy.. You know, have any of you really looked at your dogs, and say yes he looks like a he, or she looks like a she dog ? Well he looks like a boy, its his eye's. I can't get over what a good dog he is. I have all the paper work on him, It lookes to me like he was purchased in a pet store, called Russ'o pet center, and breeder in Akron Iowa. date of birth 1-11-09, I am reading this stuff now. They bought him at 3 months old.. Looking through the vet papers, he had kennel cough at one time!! Eeeks..

I talked with the lady that gave him too me last night more.. She had him for just over a week. She got him from a young couple that bought him. She said back east. They moved her in the San Diego area, and decided they wanted a big dog.? Crazy, cause looking at all the receipts from the vets for his shots/care/neuter, and his purchase was allot of money to spend, and then decide you want a big dog.. There are receipts from some puppy training too? I don't get it. But anyway the lady that I got him from didn't have a fenced yard, just a yard with a hedge, and she didn't put him on a leash? when she took him out. He saw a cat and ran for it, he did listen and came back, but she got very fearful he would get hit and she couldn't affort his vet cost if that happen.. My question was, why not the leash? She said he wouldn't walk on it?  I have not yet tried as I have only had him a few days.. But I am sure he will walk fine? She said he had a harness on him when she got him, but once she took it off, couldn't figure how to get it back on him.. Nice lady, but ? well I am just happy I got him.. Even if he isn't exactly what I wanted in a Pap. He is just the sweetest well behaved dog..

Well I took the day off yesterday to take Chassis and Smidgen in for there teeth cleaning, & shots. Smidgen couldn't have either done. she has pneumonia and congestional heart failer. The kennel cough went to pneumonia. She has always had a heart mumur. So she is on some strong medication, and next to a vaporizer.. Chassis is all good and 5 teeth less!! & I am 500.00 poorer!! & Smidge still needs her shots and teeth done!!! Yikes. Oh and I have a newbie!! I got a Papillon. He is 3 years old, and he is the perfect dog!! I got him for free!! "its a good thing too, cause I thought I would have some extra money from taxes to buy one, but with Smidge sick, I used it on her.
His name is Ori, and he is 3 years old. He is neuterd, micro chipped, house broke! He is so good.. He gets along with the girls. He is very mellow, and he sleeps at the foot of the bed.. I really lucked out with him!! So now I have my Pack. I am happy!!! Poor but happy..
