Allergy testing can detect mold allergies..but classified lower than
allergies are sensitivities.and I think that is what happens when you are in
a situation that your body reacts a little.allergies are a lot worse.

Wow Gloria, all those needles and nothing! I thought I had allergies too
because it goes on all year and becomes worse in the spring, but it turns
out that it is sinusitis and gets worse from pollen and dust, even though
they are not classified as an allergen. I landed in the emergency room a
couple of times through the years. One bout was so bad that every time I
went to stand, my legs gave way. They said that the sinus's were so swollen
that it affected the balance area on the front forehead part of the brain.
But before it got that bad, I had the same symptoms as yours for months and
they couldn't figure out what it was!

I was thinking that you have been remodeling your home and that gives off a
lot of dust and unseen particles in the air, perhaps one of those whole
house air filters would help. BTW, how is the remodeling going? Also, you
can be allergic to perfume odors in any form and have an allergy test come
back negative, as well if you have a damp house with high humidity that can
cause mold spores in the air, and allergy test don't show that either. But
you can have the house tested for mold spores.

Hope you feel better and can get it resolved.

Peggy

I have had a problem with post nasal drip and phlegm for months, along with
a stopped up head and nose. I finally broke down and went to an allergist.
Yesterday, I was tested for pollen, dust, pet dander and I don't know what
else, 45 pricks on my back in all and they HURT! That was followed by more
needle pricks on my arms and after it was all done, I was told I don't have
any allergies. So, now, I have to go back to the doctor to try and find out
what's causing my problem. I thought for sure it was allergies, it's year
round but worse in the spring.
