Dear Beth
Only the Father above knows how long Little Smidgen has.
The thing is to make sure she knows you are there and she already knows she
has your unconditional love. If I type this sloppy it's because I have Miss
Lea alias mini doxie on my lap and she keeps trying to get comfortable.
Please know you are in my thoughts and I will be researching trying to help.
Love,Mare plus all the little ones living here with me

Hi Mare, Well so far Smidgen isn't suffering. She pretty much acts her self.
This morning I could tell she didn't feel good, but she still wanted to eat
breakfast, so that is always a good sign. I did ask the vet if she should
have shots? teeth ever again, he said no.. So that kinda made me think she
didn't have long?

Hi Beth
I went through it with my little sheltie Peggy Sue.
But she was quite old....14 years.
We kept her going for quite awhile until it just became too hard to see her
suffer anymore.
I do not mean to discourage you in any way or fashion .
And my prayers are continuing for you and Little Smidgen.
Biggest Hugs,Mare

Smidgen had her re check on Saturday. She doesn't have Pneumonia anymore,
they did an x-ray and her heart is very enlarged, rated a 5 out of a 6. I
saw the x-rays and her heart is so big it is pushing against her lungs. She
is on three medications now. Has any one else here gone through with this?
Beth
