My horse has a white blaze pink area on her nose that I have to put sun screen on.. I know of people that have dogs that have thin hair and light skinned that need to put it on. I know Chinese Crested dogs need it.

Yes…dogs can get skin cancer from the sun.  Dolly loves to lay in the sun, even in the Las Vegas summer heat.  I read somewhere that if you put clothes on your dog, it cuts down the sun’s harmful rays that can cause skin cancer.

well summer is almost here and the sun is shining bright here in California.. Lola loves the sun. She has white hair and very pink skin.  She loves the sun and already getting brown do I have to worry about skin cancer????? Valerie
