Hi Lynn Some of this is a lack of choice. I have a dog with Kennel Cough. I have another dog with questionable medical background that is at least outside most of the time. At least this dog is very obedient and stays away if I tell her to.
And she will have to get used to being on her own. I will be gone most of Sunday. Which I'm sort of dreading. Right now the big thing seems to be that she needs to have me in her line of sight. I've moved her bed over by the door where she can see the table where I work. I was going to bring her with me, but it's not possible, and as she's still sick and missing some vaccinations, I'd rather not chance it. I will probably leave my stinky fleece sweater with her Sunday. But with the very, very bad kennel cough and other animals on premise, quarantine is somewhat necessary. At the moment, I don't have crate at my disposal - just a carrying bag which is too small to keep her in for anything other than traveling. Oddly enough - she seems to be okay at night being left in the bathroom. It's safer. And with the hacking cough, we both sleep better if I'm not constantly waking up and therefore she's not constantly waking up. Incidentally...she's sitting on my lap whilst I'm writing this. See...not completely heartless ;) Just not the most affectionate person in the world... -Autumn --- In [email protected], catdancerls@... wrote: > > Please give her more time Autumn.
