OH Dear!! Poor baby.. She probably got hit in the head by the JERKS who
mistreated her!! It's going to take some time, patience and love. She'll come
around... maybe start by massaging her little body along her back and tummy to
assure her that you're going to love her not hurt her. I know my Chi loooooves
to be massaged. She just has to get to know you 1st before you can touch her
head. Be patient we only know what people saw. Who knows what they did to this
poor little soul. She does that because she's afraid and she's protecting
herself. Give it time Sweety and thank you for caring about her!! :*(

Subject: [Chihuahuas] long haired chihauhau 1 year old bitch

Hi, I have just got a 1 year chihauhau that someone rescued from a gypsy site
because it was tied up all the time and being mistreated. The person had the
dog
for a week and we have taken it home on Thursday. The first couple of days it
walked round in circles. It has had a vet check and said that it is healthy,
and
other than a eye infection it is fine, although it is very aggressive, this is
why I need some advice. She does not like her head being touched, as soon as
you
go towards her she snaps. When you pick her up and sit her on your lap you can
stroke her back and she is fine, unless you go near her head. How do I get her
to trust me and stop snaping. She seems very unhappy and I want to help her.

Many thanks
