CAN ANY ONE HELP THESE POOR BABIES? MOM MAY BE ONLY ACTING OUT OF DEFENSE TO PROTECT HER BABIES! WOULDN'T YOU IF YOU WERE IN SUCH A COLD ENVIROMENT!! ****MOM WILL BE PUT DOWN IF A RESCUE/ADOPT DOESN'T STEP FORWARD!!!**** This is Laci and her 4 pups. Mom is a long hair Chi-Mix, weighs 8-12 pounds and is an older female. She is not friendly but to keep her 4 Chi pups that are about 8 weeks old from stressing out and becoming sick she is still here She will still let them nurse and the antibodies they can get from her is worth her growling at us. Mom pretty much stays in the carrier and doesn't come out much. She did come to the fence while I was taking these pictures and smell may hand so maybe she is coming around. The pups are absolutely precious. They are so little!!! Daddy was a small Chi. PLEASE , PLEASE lets get them out before they get sick!!! A shelter is no place for these sweet little babies. All rescues must have and be able to provide their 501 c 3. The shelter does not help with transports due to staffing issues. There is no pull fee. The dogs and puppies have received no vetting except for worming. The shelter is open Monday - Friday 3-5. This is the only time that animals may be picked up from the shelter. PLEASE CROSS POST!!!!
