Well, little Desi has learned how he can get the e-collar off by himself. I
would have gone to bed hours ago, but my younger sister called me and talked my
ear off. Now I am in between being hungry/thirsty and being tired. It is
after 3 am and I have an appt at 8:40 to get my hair cut. If we fall asleep in
the recliner I will not wake up in time; if we go to bed, I am afraid that Desi
will get his head out of the collar and start chewing his behind. Poor little
guy…not sure how he got a rash there. He eats the same food all of the time.
I think perhaps it goes to the bees that are around the bottle brush trees, the
lantana that he might have sat on the leaves while watching little birds fly
around…or ???? maybe he backed into a weed? Not really sure and this spray
medicine smells…not really bad but just don’t know if I can sleep with him.

He is usually a good sleeper so hopefully sleeping four hours at the most he
should keep the collar on. Almost think I should put a diaper on him. I have
the tiniest size, but it might still be too big for him. But if he gets the
e-collar off, then he could rip off the diaper also.

Just going to go to bed and get a couple hours of sleep. After I get my hair
cut then me, Judy, my friend Carmen and her mother are going to lunch together.
I will have to drink lots of caffeine!

It is good night from me, and probably some of you are already up.

I will keep good thoughts and pray that all goes well for you. I was just
reading messages and read about your sister too. Goodness, that is a lot to
have happening in your life all at one time. My heart goes out to you. You do
sound peaceful and accepting and that will go a long way in your recovery. And
of course, little Dolly and Desi will be fine and so so happy when you come
home.

Take care.. mj

Thanks for the prayers. Surgery is Thursday, May 19th at 7:30 am. I go for my
pre-op on Monday, so I should have more info (if there is any) then.

Thank you! I do believe in the power or prayer…can’t live without it!

I am going to have my friend email Rylee after my surgery and she will post on
the group.

Joan: We are ALL wishing the very best for you during and after your surgery.
With so many people and their prayers, I feel all will go just perfect. It's
been proven; the more people praying, the better the outcome, and many, many of
us will be doing that. Good luck to your little ones too, sounds as though you
have arranged they will be wonderfully taken care of.

Hugs,

Lynn

I am going to board Dolly & Desi at the vet’s office. They have round the
clock boarding personnel, and I have heard that they all play with the little
ones and that is why they come home and want to stay awake all night! LOL

My neighbor will come over and help where needed. I just think I am going to
have one heck of a headache.
