Hello Cate welcome here.  Sorry to hear you had to go true such an ordeal. 
I learned that you have to be very carefull in what to share in groups and what 
not depending on the country and believes. Until now I have never encountered a 
problem here. I don't write a lot as I also live abroad in Belgium and many 
food products, meds, shelters and law issue's are unknown to me. But I hope you 
will feel welcome here.
