Candi!!! You are an absolute ANGEL, NOT A FOOL!!! You're their hero and mine!!! God Bless You for taking those 2 in.. I will say EXTRA prayers that they will be ok and that you got to them in time. They are still too young to be away from their mommy...
What was the story on these? Who had them on Craigs list and why were they treated so poorly ... what a HORRIBLE beginning to a precious life!! As it is, we know how sensitive Chi's are as FULL grown when they're sick!!! I'm disgusted at who had them this way. Take care and THANK YOU for being THEIR ANGEL!!! HUGS!!! P.S. Long time no post Hey everyone, I have been lurking for awhile but I thought I would post tonight, because I rescued 2 baby chihuahuas this evening. Well, I didnt know I was doing it. I answered an add on craigslist we were looking to add to our family by one chihuahua. I went to see these babies who were absolutly emaciated and sickly ( I did not know this going into it). I took them to the ER vet tonight. They are supposed to be 12 weeks but they dont even weigh 2 lbs. their temp was 90 degrees and they are so bloated probably from worms. I fed them a meal when I got home and I have never seen two creatures eat so fast and viciously. It was so sad, I took them because they were in such horrible shape! I feel like a fool for paying for these puppies but I couldnt walk away. They are and will be adorable once they fill in... I just wanted to share. They are currently tucked into 7 puppy blankets a doggie bed a warming pad with pee pads... Its sad these babies are so wiped out... Thanks for reading!
