I’m in uncorp Jeffco and it can get pretty bad here. At least the neighbors
who really got into the 4th have moved away. They’d start a week before the
4th and go for the next two weeks. Sounded like a war zone every weekend. I
had basset hounds at the time and all three would be trying to hide under me.

Sandy - up here in Westminster it is not as bad as in the past years ---- yet.
I do have one Chi (Cheddar) that will hide, he is also afraid of dark. Timmi
really just does not care. I do not know about Mocha, and my daughter is moved
on with her Chi mix (Blue). I do not think anything bothers Blue.

I wish they’d ban them here. Permanently

Due to the drought, we have a ban on fireworks, they have canceled the annual
firework show and symphony concert. I think the ban is almost statewide, we're
a big state and it seems to be dry everywhere.

I think I have weird chihuahuas. Last night a big thunderstorm....they all
three slept through it without even flicking an ear. Tonight fireworks are
starting, they're paying no attention at all.
