Her name is Lucy and I only have pics of her on my phone. I need to get some
on the computer. As soon as I do, I will be so proud to show her off. She’s
beautiful. She has a lot of freckles on her nose. She’s all white except for
a brown patch on her butt. Her ears are kind of speckled white with light
brown splotches. She is my baby.

Welcome. It might take a while before you become her love. Some Chis are more
into cuddling than others but in time, almost all respond to affection. Chis
shouldn't eat very much, I give my Chi a hand full of dry kibbles in the
morning and one in the evening, both servings combined would probably equal 1/3
of a cup. In addition, in between you can offer a treat like a raw mini
carrot, an orange slice, or broccoli. My little guy, Emiliano, also likes
freeze dried liver treats. Some people do free freed (leave food out all of the
time), I do not, like I said, I feed him twice a day and he eats every bite.
What's your little ones name? Would love to see a photo.

Hi, my name is Naomi and I just bought me an adorable Chihuahua on May 9th.
When I bought her the people said she was 9 weeks old. They bought her from
someone else and decided that they couldn’t handle a puppy. It was a little
weird when I went to see her because when I knocked they didn’t come out the
front door, they came out from the side of the house just holding her with
nothing else. No bed, toys, blanket, food and no shot records. They just
handed her to me and took the money. I was a little suspicious but I wanted
her so bad.
I immediately took her to the vet and thank God she was checked out okay. She
got her first set of shots and a nice warm bath on the same day.
I have two questions for you “Chihuahua experts”. One, I drown her with
affection constantly, hugging her, kissing her, scratching her tummy, but she
seems kind of indifferent to me. She loves to play but the affection she acts
like she could do without. Are all Chihuahuas like that? Also, she doesn’t
eat very much. I serve her once in the morning and that’s it. It takes her
the whole day into late night to finish that one bowl of food. And it’s not a
big bowl of food. The bowl is very small so I would say less than ½ cup. Is
this normal? She’s been to the vet twice and she went from 2.8lbs. to 3.5lbs.
That’s a good sign. Feedback please??????
(Sorry for the long email)
