Welcome Shari and Sophie. I am Gloria and I live in Central Texas with
Emiliano my two year old, long coat male Chihuahua. I like you, was
completely devoted to poodles. During our 45 years of married life, my
husband and
I always had a poodle. When he died, he left a 13 year old poodle who
mourned him as much as I did. Less than 7 months later, when the cancer she
had spread and she was in constant pain, and could no longer control her
bodily functions, I had her put out of her misery. I felt that having a
poodle was something my husband and I had done as a couple, so after more than
three years of being alone, I decided I was ready for another dog. I did
some research and chose a Chihuahua. Now, my little fellow is the love in my
life and has helped to get me back to living for the now, instead of
living in the past. Again, welcome.
