Naomi, I use Frontline on my two chis. Actually I only have to use it every other month. I live in South Florida and there are a lot of fleas here but I have never seen one on them, thank God.

I just contacted my vet and Lucy is too small for Comfortis. She needs to be 2 pounds heavier. She suggested I use Advantage or Frontline. Does Frontline seem to work for your pets?

You will find a lot of different opinions about this on this board about the natural vs. chemical approach. I use Frontline Plus on our Chis even though I cringe every time I put it on them for fear that is will harm them. We live in flea and tick country on the Lake Michigan Lakeshore and I do not have control over their
environment as we do not have a fenced yard and have to walk them to go potty. Many on this list use Diatomaceous Earth in combination with other natural things. I tried that when we were at our home in FL and our dogs got fleas so I went back to the Frontline.
