Thanks, Mare. I knew that my brother was sick for about a week, but then he adds 'I knew this would be happening soon anyway' about the hepatitis.
I heard that Susie was in the hospital this morning, just about the fluid that had to be removed, but then her daughter told me that her blood pressure is so low also. She may not love me or even like me, but I do love her and I want her to pull through. I hadn't heard about this until today because she was in a little tiff because of me keeping in touch with my Sister, Barbara's, husband, kids, and grandkids. She seems to think that she is the only one that should, and I have made good strides in the last three years to put our relationship back together. My nephew and BIL contacted me to see if I wanted to see them when they were in Vegas. My other nephew and wife gave me their cell phone numbers.I am not extorting anything or anything.LOL Well, Susie has been having what she thought were asthma attacks, and then the ER docs were telling her it was anxiety and they were giving her some meds for that. I did see that she posted on FB maybe on Wednesday that she didn't feel well and was going to bed early. This morning, my brother called me and told me that she was in the hospital and had to have heart surgery. I have been texting her daughter and got a little more info. Susie has been in the hospital since Saturday, they said she had fluid or infection either in her heart or around her heart. Then after a cardiologist came in to see her, he said that they need to transfer her to another nearby hospital because it has a better Cardiology Dept than the one she was in. After she got to that hospital is when they told her that she had to have surgery so that they can remove the fluid, and her blood pressure is very low so they think that she has some internal bleeding also. My brother called me about 30 minutes ago, and Susie is still waiting for an OR to be open. I think that is actually a good sign or else they would have her in the OR STAT. She may not have her surgery until tonight. I'm just asking for prayers.many prayers. My brother, he was doing truck driving for Swift with a partner and in the 6 weeks he was out on the road he lost 30 lbs. He went to the doctor when he was done with that 6 weeks because his respiratory system is very bad and they don't know what exactly is wrong yet. They gave him some steroids and stronger antibiotics on Saturday. After his breathing gets better they need to do tests to see how his liver is, because his stomach is so painful. He has Hepatitis C, and has had it since 1985 when he was given a blood transfusion after a motorcycle accident. He is the genotype that is rare and now there is a new drug testing, but it is even harder and makes a person sicker than the ones he has had in the past. I am afraid for him too. Please prayers, prayers, prayers. I am very worried.scared.I just can't explain it. When I was four I lost my dad to cancer; I was 9 and 15 when I lost my grandparents; In 2008 I lost my mom; and this past May I lost my oldest sister to pancreatic cancer. I am scared that I am going to lose my sister Susie, and my brother Rick too. I have one other brother, and he is not one for too much contact and he told Rick when my mom was dying that he doesn't consider us his family.his family is his wife and daughters. They do send me gifts and I send them gifts, but I am the only one that they do that with. Please, please pray because I really don't think that I can handle it if I lose Susie & Rick.
